Bush-track driving at its best | CKGR

The Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR) covers 5,28 million hectares of open woodland, sandveld and scrub, and is one of the largest conservation areas in the world. Our expedition focuses on the prime northern wildlife-viewing region and is aimed at experienced and bush-wise travellers with well-equipped 4x4 vehicles, who are completely self-sufficient for overland travel.

Campsite near Passarge Valley

For those who are prepared for the challenge, you will be rewarded with an unforgettable experience in one of Africa's great wilderness areas. Our tour starts at Khama Rhino Sanctuary. Why not arrive a day or two earlier and tour the Park - probably the only opportunity to see rhino in Botswana! From here we travel to Rakops, our last chance for fuel before entering the northern section of the CKGR. The deep-sand tracks and open grasslands epitomise a true African wilderness expedition - seemingly we are all alone in the Acacia woodland and scrub, under endless blue skies that stretch to the horizon...
