Cedarberg | Wilderness Area

The Cederberg Wilderness Area with its spectacular rock formations, Bushman paintings, endangered leopards, Clanwilliam Cedars and great hiking trails is certainly an experience not to be missed by adventurous travellers. The Cederberg vineyards are among the highest in the country, situated just below the snow line, and are known for their excellent award-winning wines.

Enjoy magnificent mountain views and star-bright night skies, plus varied activities inluding a drive into the rugged wilderness area as we follow the Krom Rivier 4x4 trail; wine tasting at the Sandrivier cellar; time spent relaxing alongside the river... Alternatively, the more energetic may prefer a hike to the Maltese Cross or Wolfberg Cracks. We stop to view bushman paintings in the area before returning to Cape Town.
