On this tour we explore Namibia, magnificent land of contrasting scenery and cultures. From the Fish River Canyon to historical Luderitz and Kolmanskop 'ghost town'. Sossusvlei and the towering sand dunes of the Namib give way to the coastal region around Swakopmund. The rock paintings of the Brandberg are followed by the amazing geological formations and petroglyphs of the Twyfelfontein area.

The amazing visuals, memorable experiences and sensory highlights keep on coming as we continue to Etosha National Park in the north, one of the most famous wildlife reserves in Africa. Tour the Park with us, and in the evenings sit at the floodlit waterhole where you are sure to be enthralled by the diversity of wildlife that is the focus for many photographic enthusiasts.

From Etosha, we visit Lake Otjikoto and the Hoba Meteorite en route to Waterberg Plateau Park, all that remains of an ancient sandstone highland that once covered a substantial part of northern Namibia. Visit the extensive craft markets of Okahandja on our return route to Windhoek. The last night on tour is spent at a comfortable guest farm near the city. Guests are transferred to Windhoek International Airport next morning where the tour ends.
Clear blue skies, stunning wilderness places, magical sunrises and sunsets, diverse cultural highlights, ancient geological formations, and the varied wildlife and birds of Etosha and the Waterberg... this tour is an exploration of the amazing diversity and contrasts that Namibia has to offer, and should be top of the list for the adventurous traveller who loves wide-open spaces!
