Liuwa is situated in Barotseland on the upper Zambezi flood plains, an area consisting of grasslands and wooded islands. While it is home to a great variety of animals, birds and plants, our November 'Wildebeest Migration' expedition focuses on Liuwa's wildebeest migration, the second largest in Africa.
