For many, the highlight of this tour is our search for the rare and unusual Shoebill Stork on the edges of the Bangweulu swamps, whle for others the visit to Kapishya Hot Springs and Shiwa estate further north provides a memorable experience and insight into the colonial history of the area. Crossing the rugged North Luangwa Park and Luangwa River is a rare bush experience, and so too is our time spent in the seldom-visited Luambe National Park. With so many highlights and memorable adventures, this relaxed and varied African offroad experience is high on the 'to do' list of all nature lovers, and adventurous and self-sufficient self-drive travellers!

Join us in the last quarter of 2013 as we travel to Liuwa Plain, home to Africa's second-largest migration of wildebeest, zebra and antelope, usually co-inciding with the start of the rain season. It is always an adventure to reach this remote corner of Zambia, but once there, visitors are rewarded with an unforgettable wildlife and birding experience in one of Africa's great wilderness and wildlife areas!
